I recently put the LED bulbs in my rear turn signals. They look great and all because they're a super bright red light, but they now blink faster. I'm not really a fan of high speed flashers. When I put these LED bulbs in the speed of the blinker automatically became faster. Now I was wondering if there is anything that I could do to slow down the speed of the blinker...Maybe add more resistance somehow or something. Could anyone with electrical engineering experience of somesort help me out with this problem? Any help would be appreciated

yeah led bulbs have less resistants so it'll make it blink faster.. resistors may help. but not sure which kind

I can calculate what size resistor you need if you can get me the wattage on a standard 1156 bulb and the wattage on the LED bulb.

Thanks, I'll go and multimeter test the bulb. since I need to find out the current times voltage to find the wattage, how would I measure the current with the LED bulb?

I have the same gripe too,

I just got some orange LED APC bulbs and they flash real fast. I have to say I am dissapointed in the bulbs because they are so damn dim. What brand Led bulbs did you get?

Just get the rated wattage printed on the bulbs or the package they came in.
