Just wondering what everyone will be driving after their max is gone. Im personally thinking about the 2002 max, i hear the nice hp jump in that so Im thinking thats the best bang for the buck (well for a 4 door car that is)

A TT MKIV
or a 90+ TT Z ..no, not a new one...I dun like the new Z style somehow...oh well...
maybe I should get that Stillen Maxima...
no no no...no more maxima.....
I still kept looking in the rear and worrying someone might hit me.....I hate seeing my accident over and over.

Either.....

last gen TT Supra(providing I'm making enough loot of course) or a 2000 2dr Accord V6. most likely it'll be the Accord since this will be in 2-3 years when I graduate. Affordable, low maintenece, nice styling, 200hp, automatic(I'm not too big on 5spds anyways), plus it looks too sweet with rims, body kit and of course those HKS dual mufflers.

next car

Hopefully, after I graduate next year I will quickly land a well payin job (very possible with a CS degree), and acquire a lightly used Nagaro Blue Audi S4 Avant
If not, a WRX wagon will do!

I'm having a youth crisis at the moment.. probably (if I can afford it out of school) a MkIV Supra TT. Otherwise, an IS300 5spd or a 5th gen Maxima 5spd. I would never get a 5th gen automatic, I've just heard way too many horror stories from the owners here.

Too soon to say for sure,

But most likely I will get a 2003Maxima or maybe{hopefully} get a 2003 I30T. I really would like to get the I30 but I would have to transplant a Maxima's 5spd tranny into it$$. I won't actually get it in 2003 though, probably late 2005{right off of lease}. I am very pleased with my current car so no need to upgrade any time soon. Well actually {just remembered} I am going to get either a 98 Nissan Pathfinder or a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limeted V8 this October/November for a winter ride{I will use my I30 for the off winter seasons}.

my next car (within 6 months).. either Integra GS-R or 300ZX N/A... maybe a 95 SE 5-spd (if I find one for under $8000).

next car in 2-3 years... S15 Silvia Spec-Aero... I don't care if it's illegal in the US.. I'll still import it here!!

hmm

Definetly the new 2003 Maxima/I30t if they're what the rumors suggest and dont get a huge *** body yet. Other than that... maybe a new IS300 5-speed.

my next car will most likely be in 2 or 3 years, my dream since if it does take 2 or 3 years...around 2003, the skyline will be introduced to the u.s. but like i said before, just a dream. i am thinking more realistcly a new max, yes the hp gain does sound tempting or go with a acura since they do have the vtec 260 hp v6 in their 4 door sedans. i am a young guy but i love the 4 door convience and the look on a 2 door sports car owner's face when they get smoked by a family car, priceless!

Mitsubishi Lancer! Is it set for the '02 or '03 release? Anyone seen the recent SCC? Front cover show a 600hp. Lancer! Either that or a used MKIV SupraTT. No more Maxima for me I'm afraid. The new 5spd. IS300 is really nice too. I rather get the Lancer or Supra though.

Haven't made any decisions yet but I'm looking at a WRX, V spec Sentra, Lancer, or I may wait and buy an older Max and wait to buy the "new" "skyline" or an S4 or M3.

Those used to be my favorites. Now, the S4 looks like a Protege and is real akin to its cousin, the VW Jetta. Also the M3 has poor color choices

shooting for an 99.5-2000 Audi A4 1.8T and planning to mod the hell out of it. That, or a 4th gen Maxima SE 5-spd.

True, but perhaps I'd take the entry-level of a "prestige" brand over the flagship of Nissan.

If im still single in a couple years maybe IS300 but if im married and im able to convince my wife that we need a GS430 and the kids would have a better view over other cars to enjoy the scenary on 20"

See I got it all figured out
Then If I can convince her a SC package equals the Ride of Southern Comfort I would be the happiest man on earth

After I win the lottery or become a professional baseball player, my driveway will look like that too. I guess I might as well throw in a McLaren F1 while I'm at it. (yes, that's me dreaming).

2002 Acura 3.2 TL Type S

if I get another car that early.. I'll probably keep my Max quite a bit longer than that, so I'll have to reexamine in a few years when the time comes =P

I certainly hope your driveway won't look like that if you are rich one day. That guy probabely still thinks America is the only country that make cars All those Vettes and Camaro add together can't even trade him a used F355.

To my knowledge, he has modified plenty of Ferraris at his Austin-based shop and can get unbelieveable tuning out of stock cars even. He has a special collection from what I seen so far

Actually he is trying to sell his Z06 due to purchasing an import (Toyota Supra TT) while the other 2 C5s are designed 1- for road racing and 2- the drag strip. Gotta love it!

depends

Depends on so many things i got cookin right now. Could be another one around the same price range (like a 2002 or 2003 i30t) or a baby step up (like a 2003 q45 or 2003 lexus gs430 or equiv)

Or if things go much better, could be one of those mercedes muscle sedans .. or even something exotic.. who knows, totally depends on luck/business the next couple years.

good question

Next car..

4th gen maxima,
If my 3rd gen breaks down with something that will cost me big $$$$$, I'll resolve to a loan or borrowing $ from parents and getting a 95 or so Max with low milage or whatever I can afford... If my max serves me well, hopefully by 2002 I'll be out looking for a 97 or 98 fully loaded SE.... Either way, 4th gen Max for me, best I can find at the time.

I'm hoping down the line I could somehow pull off a 98 GS 400.

A 97 528is would be less of a reach but still hard.

More realistic would be a 97-99 Max SE, 96-98 I30, or a 96+ Audi A4 1.8T.

Taking it back to the old school. Probably my friend Jay's 72 BMW 2002(maybe by the end of this summer when VVV is finished), and after/during college, a early-mid 90s Cefiro. Mmm.. RB25DET, RWD and a 5 spd. A "real" Cefiro.. Mwahahahaha..

I think my fiance gets the next "new" car, probably a '98-00 Passat 1.8t Wagon or an A4 Avant 1.8t if I can find one with cloth. My butt refuses to sit on vinyl seats in a car made in the last 20 years. I don't know though, because she really likes the Forester. What fun is that?

As for me, I've been looking at the 2nd Gen Eclipse Spyder GST, if I can move somewhere warmer. If I have the money though, I want a WRX or a Lancer EVO.

Doesn't anybody want their next car to be a '98 Continental? Please?
