Need Help!!! Attn: Electrical Wizards
None of my front accessory lights work. Only my headlights work. I checked the fuses and replaced the two that were blown. However when I turned on the headlight the fuse blew out again. It did this repeatedly after replacing the fuses.
Its the 7.5A fuse for the "Tail Lamp" in the fuse box under the dashboard, and also the 15A fuse for the "Tail" in the fuse box in the engine compartment.
I have a feeling its because my front turn signals are re-wired to stay on, and also because I re-connected the clearance lights to stay on at the higher wattage (27V). However, I changed the front signals back to stock and the fuses still blew.
Any ideas?

It's a short. There's a power wire somewhere that's grounding out on your frame or another (-) wire. Re-check your wires at your signals.
good luck,

Well, the wires are back to stock except for the clearance light re-connection to make them brighter.
I went through all the wires including the clearance lights to check for grounds. Then I re-taped it all with electrical tape and the problem seemed to be solved.
However I was driving along on the freeway last night when all of a sudden the accessory lights all switched off. I checked the fuse and it was blown. I replaced it with a 10A instead of a 7.5A (what it's supposed to be) and now the lights work again.
Can anyone offer any suggestions to why my lights are acting up?
