Maxima is now "unviolated!"
Well I got my parts from Courtesy Nissan yesterday. I came back from school and there was a box with a tail light on my porch. It even came with the bulbs! I used my mom's hair dryer (which is extra powerful) and carefully cleared it out. This time, I did not damage or crack anything. While I was outside putting in the tail light, the UPS truck pulls up again, and drops off a long box. Sure enough, this was my spoiler. I opened the box up and found a painted spoiler and an installation kit. I had to do some modifications to the lighting of the spoiler since the plug was not the same plug that plugs into the OE wiring harness. Turn out that all I had to do was take out the LED light, and pull apart the internal harness and clip it to the harness that was still sticking out of my trunk lid. Then, I used touch up paint, and touched up the parts of my trunk lid around the bolt holes that were missing some paint. After that, I waxed the spoiler and prepped the surface of the trunk for the double sided adhesive to stick. I lined up the spoiler in the holes in the trunk, used a hair dryer to heat up the trunk lid around those parts. Then I pushed downand popped the outer sides of the spoiler into place. Next I attached the bolts, then plugged in the wiring. Now, I'm finished and I didnt even use the installation kit. I gotta send it back to Courtesy Nissan. All is good now, my car is no longer ugly with stuff hanging off of it. And, to top it of, I have an additional $1400 to use for somethin else. Do I hear the words coilovers?
