Update: It was my browser.

MaxedOutOfCash 06-28-2004 04:09 AM

so where's the pics?

deezo 06-28-2004 04:13 AM

Nice setup but that beam patern is jacked. The cuttoff is not aligned through out the whole pattern. You getting glare on the sides which shouldn't be there.

Kevlo911 06-28-2004 04:27 AM

Looks good, but IMO it would look better if you had bezels.

ohannon7 06-28-2004 04:37 AM

† ErV † 06-28-2004 06:13 AM

Ah thanks. Somebody could have said copy and paste earlier :)

Job looks nice, light output is good though it could be better i think. Are those Euro-spec going by the cut off pattern?

nupe500 06-28-2004 06:16 AM

Thanks Danno...dunno how to address the lighting issue...researching that now...

the point is that the projector is not perfectly leveled/clocked correctly.

the beam SHOULD look something like __/--__/--

damn that ascii art sux...but the -- part should be at the top of the / part.

from what i can see the driver side one needs to be turned counterclock (behind the wheel prospective). the right one MIGHT be ok..but i can't really tell.

nupe500 06-28-2004 06:23 AM

DOT is right...

nupe500 06-28-2004 06:35 AM

I sorta see what you mean, but when I mounted the units...I mounted them both as horizontal as humanly possible..you've got mail, funny thing is the shields (hi-beam) has a funny curve to it...I initially thought they should have been straight across...:gotme:

oh and those "bastards" did a bad job jacking your ride. :D

nupe500 06-28-2004 07:13 AM

Hey...those bastards...are gonna kick your arse!!!...but I think I may know why there is a glare that you all speak of...there maybe reflections from the chrome housing that was not built/meant to house projectors...which maybe the cause. I know Geo1317 has blacked out his housings...so he may/ is likely not experiencing this, but I didn't want that look, but may have no choice....your thoughts?

meccanoble 06-28-2004 07:20 AM

nice, i came in here thinking something bad happened :). u got projectors! WOOT!
