Selling the Max

so im gonna sell the max... it sux... but i have my reasons...

i can afford my car and insurance but why?? mass insurance rates r out of control and i have too many tickets. my sdip is like 26 now. i pay approx 4500 a year in insurance!!! in the 5 years left that i pay for my car i would have spent 22,500 dolars jus on insurance!! thats out of control. that doesnt include all the synthetic oil changes and check ups and 35 dollars a week on gas. it sux but wateva.

im gonna get a 2001 or up suzuki gsxr750 or a yamaha r6. a buddy of mine also told me to look at ducati monster 620 dark or a triumph daytone 600tt. then ill get a beater car. so its buy a bike and pay less than 1000 a year on insuranceor keep the max and throw away 22,500 in 4 years. i kno its not throwin away cuz i love my max but im sure u kno wat i mean.

well any ways if anyone is interested its in the 5th gen classified.

lata.

Dont you get cumulative discounts? If I go 6 months w/o a claim, I get 5%, and I;ve added up to 15%.

In mass 1 year clean equals 1 point less. if you go 3 years clean than they rapidly drop you down to step 15.

Wow!!! Sorry to see you make such a rash decision

You had one of the hotter AEs out there, especially 5 speed, which is rare. I wish I could take up the offer, but I would get screwed for my car. Unless, you wanna trade?

Why not get a bike and drop the max from insurance (ie don't drive it)?

That's why people close to Boston make more money cuz everything is so $$$ I pay $800 a year for insurance for my 2003 Altima full coverage in MA !!!! same when I had my maxima. Move away from the city and you can have all your toys ! See you in Natick.

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!? It can't be true! Well, good luck with the bike. Too bad you didn't decide that a couple months ago. You could have bought Clark's 3rd gen as your beater. Then we'd be able to keep two members in the NE...you and dabox(version 2)

Sorry to hear that. Be cool even when you get the bike so you can stop getting ripped. Plus move to the burbs, your insurance will drop dramatically.

17 Large huh? Too bad I can't buy the car, I would like something newer and more reliable for school, but I don't have the flow right now. Plus I'd get screwed if I tried to sell my car.

You should give FL a try if you think insurance in MA is high.

Please, try having insurance in NYC. I'm paying $4500 a year full coverage... Thats with 0 Tickets 0 accidents and 0 problems with the law. Being young sucks. I took a defensive driving course that lowered my insurance by $200 a month ago so that helped.

Good Luck with the bike I guess... I'm sure you'll miss the Max

Can you really insure a fast street bike for that little? The one time I checked they wanted as much to insure me on one as on a low end sports car, because 99% of the people who own them end up destroying property
