How do you know if you have all the recalls done. I have gone to nissan before, I am sure they check the VIN. What if there is still recalls on my car and they dont want to tell me so they dont have to fix it.

I had the crank sensor recall done which is not listed for the 2k2. I called Nissan, and they said the other two were not applicable.

Prejudice *****. Just cause you're slow and posted old news doesn't mean you can lash out on him. Hell, Jatan's had the TSB listing in his sig for months now so if people haven't already noticed his why should they notice yours?

Exactly what Dan is talking about. I knew about the site before with a few others but that doesn't mean everyone knows about this site. Big D and MaximaPOLAk should shut their holes.

I love it when members own themselves.

The first part of Polak's post wasn't exactly worded nice and politely. Also not everyone reads the 5th gen forum or even the general forum. D-sta was just trying to help out, no reason to jump on him.

TSB's are different from recalls. Recalls are in effect for the life of the vehicle. TSB's are good for the basic warranty period.

Guys we can fight all day with these characters and they'll still think they're right in their mind. My purpose here was to help out members, if its an old post read it and move on, like I said before, if you have nothing that can add to the thread please do not post, this causes maxima.org to be slow. I also don't think it was old because moderator Jeff92se put this as a sticky in the 3rd gen forums. Now ask yourself this question Big D, what are you going to get out of this? The thread is not going to be deleted, because every other maxima.org member counts, the world doesn't revolve around what you guys know which is probably not much. Also I am not 16 years old, the only person acting like a 16 year old is you. If Polak has a problem with me calling him that, let him come to me, because it seems like your on his Big D, you fairy. Jeff if you want please lock the thread since they will probably reply some with their usual. Hope this helped out those found it interesting.

studman made that site and he already asked me if he could use the TSBs I put up in the 4th gen forum on his site and I said sure. Gave him all the ones I had back in April so I guess he's still working on indexing them. He's probably busy doing other stuff.
