My Max got broken in last nite

they broke my front passanger side and took my indash dvd system, whoever took it they knew wut they were doin cuz they just took the wires off and didn't cut any wires but since my alarm was ringing they just took the HU not the brain but whoever owns one of these Pioneer indash dvd unit than u'll know without the brain it won't work so eventually they'll be back for the brain..... I'm wondering if it'll be covered under my insurance?

What kind of alarm do you have? I suggest to everyone who has a system to use a two way alarm. You may have had the oportunity to sit a chat with him before beating that a$$.

Sorry to hear about that. I hate thieves.

That really does suck. I'm actually lucky my 5th gen hasn't been broken into yet. My 4th gen got broken in too about six different times. I hope they didn't mess up the dash any on your car when they took out the dvd player.

Where did it get broken into at? Gotta watch out in philly.. My buddy got his legend stolen a while ago between noon and 3 parked on Chestnut street outside Drexel.. That street is busy as hell, not to mention all the people walking around.. can't believe people are brave enough to try that ish..

Damn Woo. Sorry to hear it man. im not sure if insurance will pay for it; it'll depend on what insurance you have and what it covers.

Unbelievable. Where exactly did it happen?

And no, its almost impossible to have something nice nowadays. I already have the viper 550esp but will soon grab the viper 791 w/2 way pager.

Someone probably knew that the tv was inside your car beforehand. Hope everything is better for you bro.

I'm really hopeing that it'll covered under insurance. for those of u who knows philly area this happened in Olde City and I know they'll be back fo more stuff. Its funny cuz soon as I got off work before I found out about my car one of this girl called me and said hey one of our friends car just got broken in they broke her rear window and took everything that was in her car, so I told my friend that called me to go check out on her thats when I found out about my car and I was telling my friend my car jus got broken in and she thought I was playing around. Another funny thing is my friends car that got broken in happened about 4 blocks away from where mine happened, I really doubt it's the same guys or not cuz my friend drives Toyota Camry.........

damn..Sorry to hear about the break in. I don't know why people try to jack DVD/Screen. 99% of them have a huge brain that has to be mounted else where.

Someone busted out my front passenger windown last month on my '04 Max...it was parked in the garage of my apartment. However, there was nothing in the car for them to steal! I guess they assumed that since the car is nice, there must be nice stuff inside. Still, it's $300 I didn't want to spend. I didn't even report it to insurance as I am already being raped by the rates in my neighborhood.

You just can't have anything nice!

Woo, Sorry about your car man that sucks. My friend almost got his car broke into last week down in Old City. We saw a couple of guys looking around at cars down there as we were walking up the street to the car. Then we see some guy look in my friends window, my friend then hit the panic button on his remote. We was like hey WTF are you doing then the two dudes just ran around the corner.

PS: Just so all of the philly people know another hot spot we thiefs will try and steal your stuff. Is on Delaware ave. at the Movies (Riverview). They look at people go in and break into their cars while they are in the movies.

Riverview is a ghetto *** theatre.. If i had a nice car, i'd be scared to park there. I always have nighmares about havin my car stolen at the movies.. Its an easy target since you're almost guaranteed to be inside for 2 hrs..

I was just letting everyone know about riverview. I go up to Warrington every weekend to see the next new movie. I always hit up the last show, that's a great theatre.

Btw, I have Nationwide also in though my rates are kinda high. I at least know when I get into something my claim will be addressed properly.
