Just another normal meet
Went to Bone Daddy's to eat (Russ you should have seen the waitresses this time).

From what I can remember the following people showed up. Loren (loren00miata), Matt (matt93GXE) Fred (fred97gle), Stan (euromax99), Kaleb (Kaleb), Bill (slickisbc), John, Matt (xhype), Thomax (sx7r), Paul (brokenmotor).

The maxes looked sharp. Much propz to Stan with his body kit max, and Loren and Thomas's max for having all that speed and power

After we kinda hung out we went to the Supra meet that was going on and meet up with Andi. There were a lot of **** headed TA there Bill had to show them how to do a real burnout.

Then we hit the local Dallas street races. Bill, Kaleb, John, and I got to watch a major race. Lasted 15 minutes before the Po Po's showed up. After that it was real hard trying to find a race. Couple of lowriders were showing out too. Other then the fights and such it was pretty good night.

Did anyone get any pics?

oh boy, i think the outcome of this race is close and debatable. we ran 3 times all from about 50mph.

the first time didn't really count cuz we both changed lanes to avoid traffic, i think we both let off and then tried to get back on it but it didn't work too well; however we were side by side until traffic.

the second time i jumped him quite a bit so i stayed in front and pulled(but it was a pretty big jump, so not really fair).

then the third time we went from 50 - 120. he jumped me about half a car right when we started. if i remember correctly, through 3rd gear i was able to get even with him(side by side) but through 4th gear he creeped half a car on me. and at 120 his governor kicked in and by then my front bumper was at the back of his front door.

in my opinion, it was really even. we both had a passenger and we both had slipping clutches(mine started slipping real bad after those races). i could attribute his pulling on me that third race to the drop in bottle pressure after the first two runs, but it's hard to say. Loren's car is FAST. i'd never raced an SC max before. i was impressed.
we will run again... =)

We did the 3 runs. The first run Thomas got a little jump. I ended up going around him, but as he said we were up caught up in traffic. The other thing is that when he first got on it, the NOS didn't look like it kicked in strong. He didn't purge before the run, so it was really to get the air out of the line. The second one he got a good car length and a half start and it was just a catch up to get on the off ramp. The 3rd race we were lined up for even and I was waiting for a signal. It looked like he was ready so I punched. I got about a fender length start. It was very hard to see him in the race bacause he was to my side and behind me the entire time. It seemed like he would get a jump whenever I shifted, but I would get the pull back at the top of the gears. We went from about 40-50 to 120 and our cars were very equal.

We also both have slipping clutches. My car no longer has any kick between shifts and the tach tends to hang at a single place for a second or two before starting to pull the next gear. I have a strange feeling there will be a rematch after the new clutchs and flywheels go in. The question will be asked again: which is faster, Supercharger or NOS?

This attempt at archiving shouldn't go unpunished. So Justin95SE

Wish I could have hung with you guys the rest of the day. But it was a good meet. Maybe next time I'll have enough mods to be able to race one of you guys.
