I have a question for the members

As most of you know, We offer Maxima.org and exclusive discount on average of 25% off Nissan List. You hopefully by now know that the site is already discounted, so we give you another 12% to get you to the 25% off total mark.

Anyway, I am getting ordered from NON Maxima.org members. I am trying to think of an easy way to determine membership.

Is it true that all maxima.org members have a maxima.org e-mail address?

Would it make sense to you members that I require orders being placed to include the maxima.org e-mail address rather than the normal personal addresses?

I am STILL desperately trying to get in contact with someone in advertising at maxima.org to get a banner on your site that would offer the discount.

We want your business, and do everything we can to satisfy members, but I really think it unfair if non members are taking advantage of the deals.

After all, you are an elite group.

Your input would be appreciated.

I've noticed some people with @maxima.org email addresses, but if I have one, I don't know about it. I wish I could be of more help but I can't think of anything which would be easy and foolproof in this situation.

That's too bad that others are taking advantage of the discount you give to org members.

This would be a hassle but....if a legit org member places an order maybe they could send you a link to a post they've made here? You could PM them back to verify the order.

Are you saying that non-Maxima.org members are asking for a discount claiming they are members? I question how they know about the existence of the site in the first place and if they are claiming a discount how they know about it being available and why don't they just bother to join the .org. It doesn't make much sense to me. Perhaps you are making a lot to do about nothing.

I think what hes getting at here is......is it really worth the time or money to get all the maxima.org members names so they can spam your .org email address.

Anyone can become a maxima.org member. With that being said....anyone can also get this so-called discount. Trying to validate whether or not a person is a maxima.org member is just foolish and does not accomplish anything.

My suspected motive is just a thought and is just about the only thing i can come up with. It is disturbing that no one is responding from maxima.org regarding business deals.

So I registered with JR Nissan about 2 weeks ago. Does that mean I automatically get the 25% Maxima.org discount? I can't remember what I read at the time I registered with you. I was told I would receive a complimentary touch-up paint kit and provided my VIN# and paint code.

One way to alleviate your concern would be to advise people to register with you and that way you would know they are above board. I suspect, however, you wouldn't give them the 25% discount. I already have authorized you to send me e-mail correspondence with my registration with your firm. I don't need duplicate correspondence from you through the .org.

How about providing a USERNAME list to him? update it every week to keep it current and he can set up the order portion of his site to use the promo code and then username for confirmation. Of course this is all assuming Kev or Jane actually care.

how about first time customers have to pm you with their email and when they register, you can activate the discount? I fully appreciate the your genorosity and great service. I received my large order very quickly, and plan on doing all my business with you, from what you offer.

JRNissan, if a maxima.org member gives out a code to a non-member - just more business for you. I believe in the begining you stated you wanted to be a volume seller.....so here it is volume.

All this feedback is great, I obviously would love the business. The only thing i try to track is where the business comes from. For example i have codes for NENOC members, people that come through banner ads etc. Thats all.

As always, a pleasure doing the org anything i can.
