Should i buy??

Im looking at this beautiful 1996 Infiniti I30. Im in love with the car, but it has 157,000 miles ! The place is asking $6,500 for it. Do you guys think that this is a good price, and considering the mileage, what should I look out for, and will this car last for some time?

too high of a price i paid less than half that for my 97 Max 5spd which was fully loaded with a 130kmi

You can do better I have seen Fully loaded auto maxs go for under 5k with less than a 100kmi

But the best advice I can give you as a person who has owned two fourth gens (one of each tranny) is to go with a 5spd

If through the dealer you can find out who the former owner is or if this place performed the service on the car & you can get a the service records that will go a long way towards helping you make your decision. As you can see from my sig my orig max is older that this car and has mor miles on it and still runs great because I take care of my vehicles. Nissan mechanics on both coasts who have serviced my car tell me that I can easily go 250K miles and I intend to as the interior is still pretty nice and after 13 years I just had her "undented" & repainted.

Note I don't baby my cars I like to drive 70 - 85 mph but I just don't abuse the red line.
