When you press the brake it will vibrate. also the steering wheel might wobble left and right when the break is pressed.

you will also feel the brakes pulsing when the brakes are applied...you will feel it first through the pedal and the worse it gets the more the car will shake..

how bout non physical signs?

i dont feel anything different but i will pay extra attention tomorrow. am asking because i hear repetitive squeels that go faster at a faster mph and slower at a slower mph when the brake is applied. it can only be heard under 15 mph though. i thought it my be the pads but the pad's wear indicators would be heard nonstop when the break is applied, right?

a few things I picked up....
it might not be your pads that are out
it might be your rotor need remachining or it is worn already. and thus the squeal

after hard driving..say auto cross...do not use the e-brake as it will warp your rear rotor....
how do you feel rear rotor is warped...well....I would think it will cause the vibration..i mean your pads are pressing on uneven plates...wouldn't that shake? Pads are not on solid base...they are on calipers..so you might jiggle a little if the rotor uneven..or maybe worse?...

you should check the specs (thickness) of your rotor when you change pads....
Ok...
hope I did not put too much of wrong info...

If your Max sits overnight the brake rotors will form a thin coat of rust. When you first apply the breaks in the morning (or a rainstorm) you will hear groaning, squealing, and other nasty sounds. Don't worry it is normal for brakes to do this.
