like a factory paint job.. the same color.. it doesnt even have to be alot of layers. I just want to get rid of the scratches.

Don't even consider Maaco. I was quoted $1200 for the same color, $3000 for color of choice, this from a very reputable body shop. My car's got the same ding problem.

for a really good paint job, don't they have to strip out the old one and re-prime the car before painting it?
I assume they are painting every nook and cranny of the car, right?
