Nizmolee, I've been meaning to ask you, how did you get the Z3 vents onto your car? Did you just buy the universal ones from VIS, or some other company and graft them onto your fenders? How much was labor for the whole thing? Over the summer, I'm doing a whole bunch of exterior stuff, and if my car is going to be in the body shop anyways, why not just have them throw those on.

Yes, I agree that It would need a new kit. My inspiration primarily came from the lack of a decent lip. I'll post some pics later today. Being unemployed has it's advantages sometimes.

As for forced induction, I'd love to see a Roots supercharger come out for the Maxima. A Roots setup is like what they use on the TRD V6 and Pontiac GTP. The Roots doesn't make as much hp as the Vortech, but it easily makes a TON more torque plus driveability is like stock. The Roots blowers are also incredibly quiet. I'm surprised no company has considered this yet. The Toyota 3.0 V6 looks exactly like the VQ and has the same intake runner setup. As we all know, the TRD and Jackson Racing Roots setups are very easy to install and the reliability of these setups far surpasses Vortech's setup. Roots blowers are much cheaper, easier to service, don't require any piping or oil line taps, and last well over 90000 miles with no upkeep.

me and micah 95 gle

were looking at his car fro mthe side the other day and you know those back window spoiler deflector things. Those would look tight on the maximas for sure. We wer even thinking of ways to make it. It wouldnt be hard at all. But those would look tight. Also, I think projector head lights are the way to go. I was thinking one day and looking at how some of the projectors head light that are out now would look and I saw some for aome car I think a civic but I tried to put it with the Maxima but with better looks of course and projectors would be the way to go.

I ordered the one-touch sunroof module. It is supposed to be a very simple install and it ran me $45 including shipping. For all 4 windows it will be like 35 a window.

In an attempt to avoid Stillen, how about seeing if JWT, Cattman, Courtesy, or Avalon could conjure something up?

I'd be down for this also. I am still thinking about trading up but my Max is dam near paid off and no note for a while would be lovely. I would definitely get in line for a cheaper alternative to the Vortech blower might just be able to keep my max until the V8 comes.

How much do you want for that spare VQ block?

PROJECTORS!!!!! my HID's are ALL OVER THE PLACE.
Let me add that these projectors should not look like cheap plastic ones made for civics and such but more like aaron's S4 setup. (1 peice headlight(projector) including corner lense.

Also if you could get a deal with anyother company besides vortex then a SC would be great. If you could get a reliable SC you will have a big line!
