i tried lookin in the searches and didnt find nuttin..but did anyone here on the .org convert to 5 speed from auto..i would like to know how hard it was?how much?all the infi..where i can get alll the pieces..negatives and psotives of it..peace..

When Mehran in DC did it.. it cost him $3000 + Free Labor (i said + to let you know that the $3000 did not include labor)

most people usually just trade in and get a 5spd and not worry about the headace

Mehran said that it would equal to about $4,000 worth of labor. Also he always had problems with the tranny afterwards.

I had this done. I had a 95 wrecked max so I didnt have to get any parts. My friend has a shop and did it for me for $500. There was some complications but he took care of them. I also put in a Stage 2 clutch and a aluminum flywheel. No problems yet.
