i wanna install a tv screen in the visor area, hook it up to a tv tuner, and run play station with an ac converter.. anyone know where i can get a screen good quality 4-5 inch and no deeper than 1 inch? for a good price?
also who has done this and how was ur set up?

Are TVs illegal in the front passenger compartment? Or does it depend on the state?

 

tv's are only illegal if they are visible to the driver and if the tv is actually playing. i have a alpine monitor which looks like a single-din player, but actually pops out when a button is pressed and 5.6" monitor pops out. the monitor i have does not yet play tv b/c i don't have a tuner, but i can use the monitor w/ my cd changer, but having the monitor on w/ the cd changer is not considered illegal. even then, if i were playing tv and a cop pulled me over, i would just switch over to my cd player screen and say he/she must of mistaken the monitor for a tv. make sense?? let me know if this needs clarification...it sounds a bit confusing.
