03 Sentra's? They're probably lease returns. The dealer could just sell them dirt cheap but I guess they wanna move the remaining NEW inventory as quickly as they can.

I remember a Ford/Lincoln/Mercury dealer was trying to get rid of the remaining newer Mercury Cougars (which I think got discontinued) so they had a special deal.

That would be a nice deal. I drove a rented 03 Sentra, they're fun.

 

They are ugly but you can't be complaining about a free car....especially when you can save your maxima's milage with it...

In all this talk, people are forgetting the pitfalls of it:

If this deal is legit, it seems pretty decent. Worst case, whoever gets a free Sentra just sells it right back out for $7-10K or so. Consider it a delayed discount .

New 2003 Sentras for $15K... I don't know about the value in that. Around April of this year, I went shopping for a new car for my girlfriend and we were given an offer of $11K for the new 2k4 Sentra at the dealership with no negotiations. I read elsewhere that some were able to score one for $10K out the door. With all the clearance deals out now, who knows how low it'll get within the next 2-3 months.

 

out in colorado springs an 04 sentra spec-v will sell for 18k and the nismo s tuned version for 24k...they have the craziest prices around here...like a maxima going for almost 40k with hail damage

Yeah I remember the Lincoln dealers giving away Cougars with Navis - then again, the Cougar was cr@p and the Navs have enough markup, plus I'm sure they were keeping the rebates (the deal was only good if you paid STICKER), that they could do that kind of deal...I bet you have to pay every bit of MSRP to get the "free Sentra" deal, too (but it would still be a great deal if you bought an Altima since they are cheaper - it would be like getting 50% off)

 

Hmmm maybe they have a Sh!tload of them on the lot trying to get it clear before the dealer folds. I remember I had a local dealer in Albuquerque, it was called Albuquerque Nissan and they went out of business without public noticing it. They were selling all inventory, it was something like buy one and get one free. I would have had two Maxima's in 98'

 

WHAT THE F*CK kind of deal is this?! I would finance a f*cking maxima or 350z and sell the sentra to pay for the monthly fee's and recover my small @ss down payment. Thats a free hot looking car for a good year to 2 years for FREE, and u get to save your dough for something better or basically just getting your new car for a sick a$$ price. I'm rambling...
