the altezza's is an old school mod. Sorta overkill...70% of everyone who's into (japanese) cars slapped them on.

I think they look ***** except on S2k's, lexus' <---plural? Lexi?

i personally dont like cars that arent black with carbon fiber hoods.....from a distance it looks like u got a paint job and they didnt finish, its the "i'll paint the hood tomorrow" look....

 

w/me driving a pearl white maxima..........

Ah, I remember those days. Everyone wanted to jump on that bandwagon so bad, there were like 8 photoshop versions of it, and then people were actually email campaigning the companies to make them. When Alex (SWA) first got them, didn't he sell them all in like a week? I thought they were just as ugly then.

And now, everyone bashes them, but considering about 8 companies do make them now, I guess they are quite popular.

Gotta love bandwagon jumpers...

I actually made the mistake of buying one of those for my element. It sounded like a tea kettle driving up the street. Its never even been in the same room as my maxima, or for that matter with in seeing distance of it

 

saw this max at a cruise night in CT a few weeks ago, not feeling the graphics, nostrils on the hood, spoiler..... imo this car is just a guy who bought anything he could that would fit on the car and slapped it on without having any consideration for taste or class, but i guess its fine for a show car because it does stand out. I guess I just like more subtle styling. Sorry if you are on the org, I just think its a distasteful car imo.

 

huh? the 5.5 Gen Max needs a big brake kit...nothing ricey about it, I'd say painting your OE calipers and keeping the warped rotors would be "ricey"..

btw, I saw this guy yesterday with a GTR emblem on the side of his 4th Gen yesterday...THAT...is rice.

Windshield Banners, headlight bulbs that arent stock or HID, wheel covers, more than 1 set of foglights.

I'm not a fan either, trust me. But I'd rather have those on then pay $1000 for new bumpers again, because NYC drivers are c*ks. Plus, they match well, so it's ok.
