SI vs Cai! who cares! i have both! hehe

i installed the Stillen intake with the velocity stack onto the end of cai (had to angle the damn thing so it would clear the back end of the fender wall.
install took like an hour, cuz of the awkward position of the CAI tubing behind the fender and me being lazy and not taking off the wheel..
sounds different than the K&N filter that comes with the place racing kit, hmm..
but WOT still screams, but in a more deeper tone.
i will soon be adding a "funnel" from my end of my GXE opening (remember GXEs don't have fog lights like the SE) and hopefully i can create a "pressure" zone for the air to travel onto toward the Stillen intake..
hope the velocity stack helps a little more on the top end, but we'll see..

I've been planning this project for my Maxima, too. I even moved my Optima yellow top battery to the trunk to free up plenty of space. What gives me pause to continue is trying to think how to route a 3" aluminum tube from the Stillen hi-flow intake, up through an ice-water vessel, and thence to the throttle body. Any ideas on what I could use for the vessel to hold the ice-water, or should I attempt to make one out of sheet aluminum? Any ideas would be useful. THX.

Put this into your "How to" section! I'm thinking of trying this too.
