Llumar Stealth Tint **Pics** 56k warning

After being pulled over a record 3 times in 4 years for tint I've gone ahead and had my windows done again. This time with the best, Llumar Stealth tint. This stuff is a 50/50 mix between black and reflective. Meaning its 50% reflective while still looking mostly black. Its great for people in PA were all tint is illegal. From most angles it looks like the car isn't tinted at all. Then from others it looks dark. I got 35% on all windows and I couldn't be happier. Hopefully I last more than a few weeks this time. Anyhow take a look....let me know what you think.

Damn, that sucks that all tint is illegal in PA. But once again, your car is looking hot.

P.S. What kind of paint did you use on your taillights, sorry I forgot what you said a while back.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm really pumped to have tint again. I got it done at Auto Innovations out of Carlisle PA. They did a REALLY good job to say the least. Plus it only cost me $150 + tax!! For Llumar Stealth! The guy was really cool that does their tint work he has over 25 different kinds to choose from. If NE people would like I could setup a group deal or something and we could probably get him down to $130 range.

Wow

Great looking tint. I love the new wheels too.

Your Maxima continues to help set the bar by which others are measured.

I really like the Grey Lustre too...but I am biased.

We need to have a Grey Lustre group or something. There are some really nice ones out there and especially in this thread alone! I need to put up some more pictures when I get a chance.

I'm not sure if I see what your talking about...I took a bunch of pics I'm sure one of them might seem like there is an imperfection but its just the pics.

Thanks again for the kind words. Like I said before I'm really pleased with the tint. I forget who suggested it but I think we should start a thread with just Grey Lustre maximas. If you look ones in this thread alone its just unreal.

hehe, maybe its my eyes playing tricks on me.. I just say something that looked like a ding righ above the tire well on the rear right side.. and I thought I saw the same thing on another picture in the same place... Maybe it was something on the background... But definatly a fan of this car....specially with these new rims!

Looks awesome!
So will this still fail the window tint tester if they use it?

I have the LLumar PLatinum PLus(mirror) at like 20 in the back and 35 in the front.
I have been pulled over, but they never have given me a ticket yet. I have had it for awhile too. In OHio they are strict too.

If I see a cop, I usually roll down my windows so they cannot see it. They mostly worry about the front tint anyway.

What would happen if you would not roll your windows down for the test? Can they force you??

This tint will still fail the test. In PA the law is 70% aka factory. So ANY tint is illegal. Which more or less gives the police the right to pull you over no matter how light or dark your tint is. The way it goes with me...i'm normally driving late home from where ever and they pull me over on some BS like blue headlights and then tack on the tint charge. So far I haven't had a problem but its just a matter of time.

I'm considering getting something like that on my Impreza. Here the law says 35% but absolutly no mirror. I've heard that tint gets kind of a green tinge to it over time though.

Car looks great, tint is awesome but albeit too light. Still, like you said for places where the tint laws are fascist it's one of the best I’ve seen.
