Figured id post this in general since im not sure if 5th gens use it too.

I throw a CEL if I let off the gas b4 throwing the swith back to normal. If i flip it back to normal AND THEN let off the gas I dont get a CEL. So right after it shifts, flip it off real quick and let off the gas or whatever, only takes a split second.

It took me a few times and re-sets to figure it out and we all know its a PITA to reset the ECU so thought Id let everyone using it know.


oh, and i only flip it on (break the circuit) RIGHT b4 it shifts........

 

what about us 4th gens that use the wot switch?

ive got the cel light and it isn't going off.. and the od light flashes 16 times.

i did reset the ECU... and next i go WOT it comes back on after i start the car again.
