Crush Gaskets
Crush Gaskets
Anyone know where to get crush gaskets from? Not the dealer metal type but the type you get with the budget y pipe or Apexi exhaust that when you tighten the sections up they crush and stick together to seal up completly.
I had them when I originaly installed with the components and when I had to do work on my car and sepreated the exhaust pieces from each other they stuck to each piece and ripped. I replaced them with dealer metal gaskets but would like to try and get these gaskets again, to me they seal up better.
Right now, I think I have a bit of an exhaust leak, I can smell my exhaust insode my car. Not bad but it seems like theirs a leak and I think its coming from the section between my y pipe and my straight pipe.

I went to autozone with the parts in hand, they had the 2.5" cat to b pipe gasket but it ended up not working for me. It was too small and leaked. The 98 "s" pipe thing, just before the real b pipe just after the cat, is actually larger than 2.5", so i used the stock gasket in the end. I also got the muffler to B pipe gaskets and they are fine, but still didnt seal my leak
. I had to use a stock crush ring with the gasket.
