How much?
I have a 96 pearl white max. Its a GXE so i know the spoiler was put on by the previous owner. The paint is not looking hot at all on the spoiler. It looks pearl white like nissan did it, its just getting little black spots on it.(normal eyes cant spot it but of course i can) How much should i expect to pay if i take the spoiler off myself, and have a shop paint it?

OMG...yeah mine is pearl white so I know that its gonna be the expensive paint. I am not even gonna get a break if I just take the spoiler in? Should i just leave it on then and let them deal with it since i am shelling out that much dough??

its a 3 stage pearl.. base white, pearl and clear coat.. so it cost a big more to paint.
I had quotes up to $1100 for the body kit

I just had my car painted with pearl paint, but the pearl was mixed with the color. It was just primer, several coats of color and several coats of clear. Then sanding and polishing.
It wasn't any where near as expensive as your quotes.

i had my spoiler painted QNO and installed about 3 years back...i don't remember exactly how much it was, but it was between $225-330. i don't remember exactly but expect somewhere around there. they matched it dead on too!

Whate Fame Max said.
black spots on the back end of lighter colored cars is normal. it's debris off the highway that sticks to the back of the car.. usually grease or rubber or dirt (or a mixture of all)..
use some dish soap and a clay bar and go to town on it, then re wax the whole area once you get the spots off because the dish soap will strip the wax off.

Famemax and matt93....thnx for the clay advice..That the one place on my car that I have not done with a clay bar other than the bumpers. I have not really tried any waxes on the spoiler b/c its not metal. I am afraid to use and buffers or waxes on a part of the car that not metal. So I need to get over that fear after I use the clay bar and put some wax and clearcoat cleaner on the spoiler??
