"They were apparently stopped twice by Georgia police, but continued heading south anyway."

how dumb can u be? theres no justification for this.

"I just want to thank the Lord above, because without his help, we may never have made it home", noooot, the lord punished u by not giving u a brain..

That story is really sad....I mean, were they really going to just keep driving???

At least the border partrol would stop them if they made it as far as Mexico, or Canada...

These stories pop up every now and then. I read one just like this a year ago or so.

Obviously this individual should have his license immediately revoked. He is clearly not fully competent and has no place behind the wheel of a car. One can only wonder as to why he was honked at frequently and pulled over twice, his obvious cluelessness of his immediate surroundings notwithstanding. He has no business driving a car.

i agree with skoorb, i mean, "the three had medical problems"...is this the understatement of the week? if these problems are bad enuff, maybe a non-problematic person should have gone with them. or the son should have drove. something! bah, tech support has made me numb to things like this, haha.

I just dont understand old people, no honey just keep driving cause eventually we will go around the world and get back to where we started. What kind of dumb-azz crap. And then dude falls and hits his head at a gas station. This is just too weird. Oh well at least the were comfortable. I wonder what kind of gas mileage they got? hehehe
