Looking at different maximas

I have been here before, but its been 2years and a month since my last visit. I wanted a maxima, and I never did get one. Well, now im in the market for 3rd car. Im really just looking and thinking right now. Im looking at 97-99's and 00's. I really dont know of any advantages that one may have over the other, but O-pinions would be great.

I have a 2k and i love it. its my second car (up from a 93 chevy lumina). it looks good stock but a few mods like clear corners, dropping it and tinting the windows make a dramatic difference. sure i wish i had the 3.5VQ but i cant complain about the 3.0 222hp.

IM a 4th gen fan so I would go with a 99se still reasonable new and should be able to find one with low miles and in good shape.

All right, as a 99 owner, I'll be the first to say that the coil packs will inevitablly pi$$ you off. They will most likely fail and you'll have to shell out a few hundred to fix them. Just an FYI.

Thats weird you have trouble with your coils. Is this a problem relating to the 99's cause I have never had to replace a coil but once when I broke it pulling it out to change my spark plugs. But it was my fault so. But I havent heard of a big problem with them

Just wait until you feel a "bumping" sensation while idling. It only starts there.
