probably, they really didn't do too much to bring it over to the states. The radio is even still RHD. IMO that pos doesn't deserve the name GTO

ok, I have being thinking that nissan might decide to stop producing the maximas, but then I saw that there is no reason for the maximas to stop being produced. unless nissan in trying to do one of two things.

One: they will get rid of the maxima make the altima their new top car, introduce a brand new small car with a big engine (small like a sentra and powerful as a ferrari -> sort of)
or
two: give the maxima more power , more luxury, more everthing, raise the price, and makeit their untouchable luxury quality car. then make the altima their commoun people car (20's 30's), make sentra faster (to compete with the Srt-4). and also somewhere in this maze introduce a brand new sporty car faster then a 350z posibly.

either one though they sound unreasonably I still keep thinking that nissan will put a Brand New car into the market, don't know where in the "ladder of their cars" but somewhere.

Maxima makes a perfect rival to Avalon, I am sure they will keep producing it for many years to come.

There is no way they are going to remove the maxima line.

remaking the 4-5 gen is ok I guess, but there looks are dated now, BIG time. I have a 2k maxima and love it.

All that being said, All car componeis are getting bigger. the reason I see this happening is because they have found a way to make them more fuel efficent yet still a car people want to drive.

saddly I do not like the inside of the new altima. to cheap feeling.

5th gens look is great especially the 02/03's far from dated looking, the 97-99 Se's still look great as well.
