I like it, but is there not a way to have it a userchoosable option, or enabled on certain themes or some kind of way that would make some people happy?

I think it's a good feature to have....saves some time with reading threads you don't know about or don't care about

I think it's a good idea to let people preview posts before they actually open the thread. I vote yay

It used to just preview when I moved mouse over the actual thread title, now it's anywhere in the thread box.

I like the feature btw

I spend more time on this site than any other because of this very feature.

Oh yeah, and the Maxima stuff.

Yes, there is no negative effect on this feature as far as I can see.

I see I'm in the majority here. Why would anyone not want this feature, especially with some of the moronic threads that get posted here sometimes?

The tiny increase in page size for the forum index pages is more than offset by not having to view so many threads that you don't actually want to read.

Great feature, definitely keep.
Of those people who oppose it, can someone post a compelling reason against having it on? Not trying to start a debate, just wondering as to the reasoning to oppose it.

That sums up the whole need for it right there. Of course, I don't view my time on here as a waste.
