Easiest way to remove old gaskets?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering what is the easiest way to remove old baked on gaskets. Scraping will take years, is there a certain kind of chemical I should be using on them?

BTW I will not be reusing them

Use a gasket scraper desinged for such uses. If you are taking off gaskets from aluminum, it's too easy to gouge the surface. I surely hope you aren't using old gaskets again.
