Help! wipers not working, fuse ok

Hi,

I posted on the 4th Gen already. I'm in immediate need to fix my wipers, it rains a lot in this part of Mexico where I am righ now... wipers and also winshield washer are dead. Any ideas? Id'e hate to take it to the dealer if it's something easy.

thanks

Do you hear the wiper motors turning when you hit the switch on? If so....
My wiper stopped working because the arm loosened up from the post its attached to, I just had to take off the wiper arm then put it back on to fix it or tightening it would have worked too.

RainX is always good in this situation.

no motor sounds, plus the winshield fluid doesn't flow. I am getting ready to buy/replace the switch on the steering column. already checked fuses and relay on engine bay..... hope I can fix it!

I recently had a tire expplode on me, and it took out everything in the passengers front side footwell.....this includes the washer fluid resevior hose, low fluid sensor and my wipers also dont work....I assume there is some more electrical things in the wheel well, previously above the mud guard (which was ripped out by the tire) that could be causing the wiper malfunction.....maybe this area should be looked into on your car?
