Witness to Painful Incident

So Saturday I was driving to go pickup my wife from work, when this other 4th Gen was going in the opposite direction as it passes me I hear loud clanking/cracking sounds, but I figured since we were close the some train tracks it might've been a train coming when as I look into my rearview to see it pass by...BOOM!...the front driverside wheels come off and the car is sitting there!!! oh the pain that guys must've felt...it just sucked to witness that!

If it was a shop's fault, I'd make some money off that.

My friend and I replaced my brakes one time and he put the wheels back on for me. The next day I drove 30min on 95s at like 90mph when I hit some traffic. Going 5mph I heard a clunking sound from my wheel. I pull over to find that every lugnut was about one turn from coming off! To think that I could have died cause my friend forgot to tighten those damn bolts. So later I called him and told him what happened.. he was like "oh whoops." He aint allowed to work on my car with me anymore.

Bearded, he may have tightened them. Lugs should always be retightened after driving a bit. I've never had a real bad experience. Once I had a lug come off but thats it. I feel bad for that guy.
