I never seen a Maxima in video games. WTF. I would so love to drive either the 4 Gen or the 6th. Since those are the two I own.

 

The demand isnt there.. But hey, you could always drive 30 different types of Civic's in video games :P

 

there's a game coming out with a Maxima in there. not sure on the title of the game or the gen of the max (hell, pearl white 5th gen would be nice... lol) but will try to find out

 

I believe Gran Turismo 4 is coming out with a 6th gen.

Thats what I saw on a old "car list" for GT4 anyways.

well if nissan made a turbo or s/c form the factory then we would see more maxes in video games.

Actually, they just announced the release date of December 14 but there might be a small delay, like just missing christmas, but I think it will definatley will be out before April.

Tokyo Extreme Racer 3 has an A32 or A31 Cefiro in the game.

 

It's more fun to do the opposite, drive real cars as if you would in a video game. I got a chance to do that with the Mercedes Benzes. I hammered the SL500 through a set of cones, and I think my video game playing when I was younger and watching Mario Andretti enabled me to clip some nice apexes! Ditto for the S500 and S430. Only rode in the G-Class SUV, they didn't let you drive it because they took you through a course which causes the vehicle to almost tip over.

 

Yep... it's an A31, I believe. I've got the game. It's not that bad of a game, and the cut-scenes are confusing as FLOCK, but you'd be better off getting NFSU2, SRS: Street Racing Syndicate, or just waiting for GT4 to come out in December..

 

GT4 isn't getting delayed anymore. It's done. Complete. Finished. They're in the process of testing it and getting rid of any bugs right now. Even with 650 cars...somehow I still feel as if we Maxima owners will get screwed over. I pray that we don't though, I desperately want to see a Maxima in a racing game. Sony is not revealing any info on a concrete car list for some reason. I've contacted them numerous of times and they just say it isn't ready. All I want to know is the game will have a 4th gen, 4.5 gen, 5th gen and a 5.5 gen. Don't care much about the 6th gen, and wouldn't mind seeing the 3rd gens in there. All I get from my PRs is that they're not ready to talk about the car list; what horse crap.

they should just have every Generation i would think they could include it in the 650 cars

 

no offense but why the 6th gen in the video games...the 4th gen is the most popular anyways! sorry 5th gen guys, and 6th and 3rd, but its the truth.

no games have a altima either. but even for the time I had my S13, the games didnt really act like the way the S13 really drove. I felt the my S13 was way better than the interpretation of it in a game. and in the game it was turboed

Nope. That Maxima is just a poorly made download for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit for PC. It's not part of the game; you have to download it. It's just some ugly piece of **** some worthless hack tried to model.

 

while it may be the most popular the VE powered cars carry the same horsepower as the earlier 4th gens and handle a hundred times better thanks to full independent suspension. The 1994 VE was the last of the real 4DSC...

good part is that nissan has the biggest selection. 64 cars, thats a head and neck above all the others. we rock guys

 

not to mention whenever there is a favorite gen poll the 3rd gen wins everytime

and the VE would dominate on the track, as stock 4th gens dont have much top end, while VE's are monsters up there.

 

wonder if there is going to be a drag racing section. Iunno if you guys remember, but there were a bunch of drag cars in GT2 but no drag track (cause they were pressured for time). Oh well. Hopefully those cheap Formula cars are also in this one - the best from GT3.

 

There are. There's a drag strip in the game right on the Vegas strip, which is so cool.

I can't wait for this game, been a die hard GT fan since the first one. The closest that we'll get to a Maxima is the Bluebird, which I believe looks like either a 1st or 2nd gen Max.

I personally like Gotham Racing 2...but GT3 looks sweet!

Everyone wants their car to be in a video game...personally I'd expect a G35 or Tl over a Maxima.

 

Besides TF&TF, video games are where pre-teens develope misconceptions, i.e. a civic with a wing is fast... Why would you guys want to wreck "the secret" (shared among thousands of enthusiasts that is.) and instead just smoke them in real life. Long live stealth kills.
