Are they magnets or stickers. They look sort of thick. I don't feel like walking up to someones car and try to peel their sticker.

Magnets. And you would walk up to someone's car and steal their magnet?

If you were considering getting one of these ribbons, I'd be careful where you bought them at. My girlfriend's sister worked at a sunglass kiosk upstate & she knows for a fact that the owner sold boxes of these for $5 each & kept all the money for himself.

Wanna make this worse? He was able to get the ribbons after sending a letter to an organization who produced them & sent them out FREE OF CHARGE to businesses who wanted to participate in the program .

Maybe you should take a trip to the middle east and help support our troops that way then. I doubt you meant anything by it, but come on man! Think of all the families in this country missing and loosing there loved ones over there.

ok, tell me, if you were put on an isolated island and were given a car to drive, would you still put one of those ribbons on? you know, there would be noone to look at it... i in no way was trying to say anything disrespectful towards people who get sent to iraq. i am making fun of those ribbons because i believe that they don't do anything useful. as i said before, if you want to support the troops then either do something that would actually help the troops, or just keep your support in your head. those yellow things are like a show-off, "look at me, i "support" the troops!". they dont belong on a car. stick then inside your house or something so that YOU would see them and do your support. whats the purpose of having them on the back of a car if you cant see it. i personally am thankful to people who go to war so that our country would be safe, and i believe those ribbons have nothing to do with it.

Agreed, it does seem somewhat trendy...as do the FDNY stickers after 9/11. Although you can't prove that they wholeheartedly support the troops, etc you can only assume that they do.
But how does your bastardization of the sticker make you look? Take your own advice - keep it in your head or in your house.

btw, why would you put it on the front of the car? I certainly survey the rear of a car more often than the front in traffic.

I support our troops 100% but I really dont trust these things. I went to go buy one and its like 4 bucks. This isnt doing **** for the troops, and someone else is getting paid IMO. I would rather get a sticker made up for them and put it on my rear window

you're telling me that my buddies are dying face down in the SAND and you're mocking them?! I JUST got word of my longtime friend of 7 years died while fighting in Iraq and then i see this ****?!

I hope to high hell that an enlisted person finds your sticker and beats the living **** outta you...

First... it's anti-war demonstrators... then, personal attacks on my friends in Iraq, now, i see this... May God have mercy on your soul.

Hey if you want ot support our "Troops" go to the local recuriter and ask them how to send acare package they need that stuff out there. tooth paste, chapstick CANDY! sunblock a magazine whatever books. I am one of the few the pround the underpaid, but even if you do or don't like why we are there that is someones son, husband, brother and neighbor. Do you know how many families have been left behind so that dad can go fight in Iraq, that can bearly pay the bills, whlie we are buying bling bling rims and tv's for our headrest. If you want to help and show some support that is one idea. MY $.02
USMC.

jesus i had no idea this will bring up such angriness... i guess i need to apologize to people who feel offended by this. all i was trying to say is that those ribbons ar only for show off, they dont do any good. they should have just set up places where you can donate the money or something, i dont know. again, i apologize to those whom i hurt.
