I am looking for Nismo part # 21200-RS580. The cheapest I have found is $55. I am hoping that someone can enlighten me on any good Nismo part sources. Thanks in advance.

Oh ok thanks for the number. I tried submitting a parts request online, but nobody has replied in two business days. So I will give them a call.

Would they know the name "Aaron"? Or do I just say, I am Aaron from Maxima.org? Thanks for the heads up.

1MAX2NV, I have never seen a low degree thermostat for the 4th gen Maxima. But if you are interested in lowering your thermostat opening temp, then check out what Jime did a long time ago. If you remove your Tstat and add in a spacer, the Tstat will actually open earlier than stock. I would look into that and do some experimenting in a pot of hot water and a nice thermometer. Other than that, I really don't know what your options are for a lower Tstat. But keep in mind that a lower Tstat won't help in the Maxima unless you have an upgraded cooling system. That means, a better radiator, a good coolant additive (ProBlend 40 below Stops Overheating), manual cooling fans switch, or upgrade cooling fans. Those things go a long ways in cooling the Maxima. But, if you have a stock cooling system, then a lower Tstat won't help. It will still heat up to the normal operating temperature.
