Yes I did beat one and he was going ***** out. But I beat him to the 1/8 that is . I cut a .696 reaction with a 2.389 60ft (horrible best of the day was 2.28) ended up with a 10.051 @ 70.53 at the 1/8. He passed me right about 4ft after the 1/8, so I still lost the 1/4 by like 1.5 seconds. Right off the line i put him about 1.5 cars behind, I could see him gaining on me in 2nd gear but I was too far ahead LOL. Even though I lost the war, I won the battle. Now can someone tell me why I couldn't do this to a C5? I cut a bad time 0.833 wiht a 2.44 60ft, needless to say he smoked me good. I believe I lost by 2.4 seconds that time. But I did get one win, that was against a newbie making his first pass in his sentra SE. He redlighted with a .235RT vs my .562 (I saw him leave so I left too). After the wheelhop stopped I pulled him easily, I beat him by like 2-3 cars. He ran a 16.4 at 84 with a 2.53 60ft his first time, which isn't bad I ran a 17.3 at 84mph with a 3.1 60ft! He also said he short shifted at 6000rpm because he wasn't paying attention LOL. I though some of you might enjoy LEGAL DRAG RACING for a change vs street racing. It seems this month I've done more 1/4 passes than races on the street. Weird ain't it?

Yep, track racing is the best because you are in front of a crowd. I've beat 3 modded 5.0s and said on the bumper of a couple LT1 F-Bodies going down the track. The annoucer use to not give my car credit until he saw it running 14.7s-14.8s@94 and laying waste to many other musclecars out there.

Track racing is great because you can honestly see who has the quicker car and who is the better driver. People who street race have NO IDEA what kind of skill it really takes to drive a car.

Disclaimer:
I've been smoked by NUMEROUS other musclecars out at the track. Most 5.0s and LT1s will be beat me. I'm just saying I've beat them before or have come damn close.

The guy cherry picked too...

Originally he was lined up with a 5.0 that had a roll cage. But he told the guy that he wanted to run me instead (I was lined up with a civic SI and the driver had a helmet ). My first thought is that this guy is scared to run just anyone. So I figured I'd do my best to beat him. Apparently he was really slow off the tree, I know my 0.696 wasn't good but damn I left him good. [excuse]Never the less had this been an 1/8 mile I would have won in a way slower car [/excuse]. I"m pretty happy considering my only mod is a cone filter and timing advance. I know I can get 15.5's maybe even a 15.4 with a perfect launch now that I know where to shift.
