I have about 95K miles on my car, and i wanna get like a 40shot system. Is it worth it with the mileage on my car? Does it hurt the car THAT much? If i am only running a 40shot how much damage could i be doing and how much power am i really gaining. Where do i get these systems for the cheapest? How much is install?? Finaly question, will i need a stronger clutch(gonna replace it with a stronger one ne ways when i need to)

40 shot is nice and mild... you might have to replace your clutch.. i don't know the condition of it now.. so i can't really tell you...

40 shot = 40 hp

I have a 40"shot" on my 97auto. I do not have any probs. It will cost you about $500 for a new kit. I installed myself, it was pretty easy. As for how long it lasts, nobody can answer that. Depends how you drive, how much you use it, how you use it.so on and so on.

hey 98Max

how many miles you got on your max, is it really that easy to install, i only plan on using it about 100 times a year. What do i have to look out for so i dont detonate my engine, or is the 40shot such a small amount it don't matter.

Well, for starters its a good idea to put in new o2 sensors with that milage. It was easy for me to install cause I have done it before. Read as much as you can about NOS before hand just so you know how it works and why it works. You need a NOS safty switch that kills the NOS if you lose your fuel for some reason. You will probabaly need a "blodown tube". I do not have one. My bottle never gets over 700psi and I live in Florida. I have to heat the bottle before I use it. And before you even hook it up get a FIRE EX. With a 40"shot" you should get about 40hp and about 55lbs of tq.

Remember the golden rule.

If you wana play you gotta pay!

I would do a full compression test on your motor. Make sure the readings are well with in spec. If not, dont use the nitrous. Adding horse power in any way will accelerate engine wear.

Look here for nitrous info...

You will be fine with a 40 shot.

Your clutch will depend on how much it has been pounded on. Is this still the orig clutch? You should be fine as long as you dont go happy with the gas (no pun intended). I mean spraying at every stop light. Since your local to me, I'll take ya for a ride with my setup. I'll be testing out my VB to see how well it handles it.
