Cali Spec or Fed Spec

Hey what's a quick an easy way to figure out what spec your max is? I remember coming to the conclusion a long time ago that my 97 was a fed spec but I forgot how I came to that conclusion. haha.. i must be getting old. Thanks in advance.

There should be a sticker right under the hood. It will say if you are FED or Cali. If your cali, you will notice you have a lot of sensors too.

Ok popped the hood and took a look at the emissions sticker. Basically at the end of the chart and it says "THIS VEHICLE CONFORMS TO U.S EPA REGULATIONS FOR 97 NEW MOTOR VEHICLES."

So basically if it were cali spec it woulda said CALI EPA REGULATIONS instead of US right?

Sorry if this post seems moranic but I just wanna make sure.

Yeah california has stricter emissions regulation. Too much smog.
