Where to buy D2 coilovers?

I've decided on the D2's... read a lot of threads about them. What I was unable to find is where people have been buying them at. I have only been able to find one distrubutor that has them listed on their website. Almost all google hits are forums like this one talking about them, but nobody selling them. I'm not looking for specifics, just toss me some names and I'll look from there.

Thanks for the help. I did call Urban Import (it's the same # thats on D2's website). They have a shipment coming in mid January... so this is probably where the group buy kits are coming from since I'd guess everything coming into the states is through them. The cost however is significantly higher.

Are you sure you want the D2's? I have had them for a few months now and they make so many noises, expecially in the cold weather, popping noises, clunking noises, chatter, rattle,. . etc etc, . . it sounds like its falling appart and as great as the car looks and handles, the noises do not warrant an $800 pricetag.

I did ask D2 about this as well. I guess some shipments went out with improperly lubricated pillow mounts. This has been corrected. You may want to call them to find out if yours are affected by this, and what they can do for you.

No they're not. Urbanimport.com and d2racing.com are the same company. The guy there said they have a big shipment coming in mid-january from over-seas. It is MY GUESS that this is where the group buy kits are actually coming from... even though they are being purchased through another distributor. That would make sense for an end of January delively date. Just putting 2 and 2 together and making a guess... I could be wrong.
