What would you do?
I need to replace basically my whole exhaust system.
Heres what Im thinking of doing...
Ported exhaust manifold, Y pipe high flow cat and 2K muffler for 'factory' look and quietness. 2.5" throughout.
What would you do if you had a 3rd Gen Max that needed new exhaust?

Thats the way I'd go...
and hopefully will go this summer, just gotta get my hands on some spare manifolds and good machine shop....I saw a "porting kit" in one of my magazines, but I'm not sure if I wanna try the DIY on that or not!?
you don't have to spend the extra money on SS piping, aluminized holds up just fine, if your still running the stock piping on your current Max until now that should give you an idea of the strength of aluminized piping, mine is still entact after 11 years!
