First, Merry Christmas to all!

I ran out this morning to pick up some egg nog and noticed that when the sun hits it just right, there are very fine vertical scratches on the rear driver's side window of my new '05 SL. I can't tell which side of the window they are on; I can't feel anything with my finger if I rub across them. Like I said, they are only noticable when the sun hits that window just right; otherwise you can't see them at all even when you know they are there.

Any thoughts on what to use and how to get rid of them?

Try Bon Ami cleanser. Rub it in really well and then rinse it off. That might polish your glass up enough to make them go away.
