Just installed JWT Pop charger! Got 2 questions
#1
Install pop charger tonight, took 20 mins on my 95 SE. But where do I mount or put the air temp sensor? For right now I have it taped to the metal bracket that came with the intake, but where does it go? Also, I now have a high pitched whine sound when my car idles coming from the intake. What is this and how do I get rid of it??? Thanks

Alright thanks. Question one answered. Yes I do have a whine when the car is just idling. It sounds like it's coming right from the cone. I had a 92' with a pr cai and i think i had a whine noise from that too. but this is really loud with the hood opened.

the "whine" you maybe be refering to is the normal intake noise of the intake taking in air... since it is going in at a fast rate the whistling or what you call a "whining" noise is emitted... no real way of getting rid of it but taking the intake off....

Also double check...
All connections. You wanna make sure that everything is bolted up nice and tight. On my old 3rd gen. I had a slight whistle and couldn't figure it out. I took the whole thing apart and reassembled making sure everything was air-tight. No more whistling. You mentioned you did it in 20 min. I hope you didn't rush it. As far the air temp sensor, its best place is back in the intake track. This way its out of sight and gets the most accurate reading. I prefer this method although others have reported no problems tying or taping the sensor somewhere near the intake.
