WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW that is alot of miles!!! i would think you would get something cheaper to beat on if you knew you would be doing so much driving with it.
That car is gonna be trouble

That's only 40k a year. If he has all maint. records, this car will last 400k easy. The only things that will go are alternator, water pump and bearings.

I totally agree. I have a customer with a BMW 5 series that drives over 70K a year. It's a 5 speed too! First clutch lasted him over 200,000 miles, he usually drives them to the 500,000 mark then gets a new car.

My point being high miles, especially highway mileage isn't that much ware and tare on the vehicle. Age will cause things to fail just as much as miles will. I'd purchase a newer used high mileage car over an older lower mileage car of the same value. That Maxima has plenty of trouble free life left in it.
