I'll be getting four new tires
and planned on getting an alignment
since I didn't do it after installing
H&R + Tokicos. Front end alignment
comes free with the four tires, but the
rear is extra $20. Do I need to have
the rear done? Is the rear unadjustable?
My chamber is probably off since I've noticed
that the inner part of the front tires are
wearing quicker. Do I need chamber bolts for
the front or the alignment should take care
of that? Should I be concerned with the rear
chamber as well or just the fronts?

Thanks.

don't bother with the non adjustable rears and save your 20.
But the front camber is off.. and if the mechanics are good they can do it. But if they can't they'll sell you camber bolts (nothing but thinner bolts) to adjust your camber.
my guy charged me a hefty $30 but that included the installation and i have free lifetime alignments =) .

The modest drop of the H&Rs shouldn't push the camber so far out of spec that it can't be adjusted with factory adjustments. You might want to spend the mere $20 to have the rear alignment checked just so that you know that the rearend is in good shape. I had a 4-wheel alignment done when I first got the suspension done (when I first bought the Maxima) and it's nice to know that it is dead-on spec, as well as knowing the various settings for comparison purposes.

Albert, it's not the camber that's making the tires worn. It's more than likey the toe is out of whack. H&Rs don't lower the car enough to affect the camber too much.

REars. Even if the rear toe is not adjustable, I would at least get it measured. The toe is adjustable on my 3-gen VE and it was off after the Eibach install.

So if I had Intrax springs (1.75 front, 1.5 rear) do I need a chamber kit?
