most aftermarket extended warranties are, usually have to pay $30-50 to do so, have to get papers and send it in within first 20-30 days after u buy the car.

When I got my new car back in Dec of 2000, I got the extended warranty and they said like five times that it was indeed transferable. I don't know why yours would be any different.

tranferable

I think the warranty has to. If you go to a dealer, and you purchase a used vehicle, but it has less than the 3 year or 36k miles(standrad warranty) on it. Most of the time I have noticed that it will say, "+ the balnace of factory warranty" I have never tried outside of a dealer though. I would imagine it has to be the same.

Mine's fully transferable.

As a matter of fact, it might give you
a little extra added value if you sell the
vehicle while it's still in effect.

By the way, has anybody had to "take advantage"
of their policy yet? Dealerships give you any
static about coverage? Mine's supposed to be
bumper to bumper except for body and trim.
Did the dealership treat you any better or worse
due to the fact that it's an aftermarket warranty
as opposed to factory?

My first gear is starting to slip pretty bad...
maybe I can get a new tranny out of it...
