I just installed the yellow top and realized that the yellow top is not designed for a vehicle which has a charging system (alternator).

Will it hurt the yellow top in any way, shape, or form to use in my max???

Does the alternator actually charge this as you drive???

And finally, for those of you with a yellow top...how do you charge it (voltage, etc.)???

My yellow top operates fine off the alternator, and I was never warned of this situation, even from the battery supplier I bought it from. . . Are there different forms made for different applications because I have never heard this before?

I've never heard that either. Had mine almost 2 years now and it's working fine. Mine came precharged with enough juice to crank and the rest was up to the alternator to charge it full. I'd assume you could just plug up a battery charger to it and charge it that way too but I did mine the old fashioned way.
