in addition to my 4th gen maxima i have this 2nd generation maxima beater

i paid $450 for it and its way beyond any form of reasonable repair...

what could they possibly do that would make it worse than it is now?

but i have seen Andy's house.. a member of this board.. he lives in AZ.. and his house was bigger than that one with more land.. and it wasn't even $200,000

oh and sorry I meant no offense to your real estate abilities in connecticut, which apply quite well in arizona

a 2 bedroom condo in Greenwich, CT is $650,000... so i know house prices

well.. the house itself doesn't make it 400k.. look at that pool in the back.. and the upper level being built..

Andy has a nice home.. his was less than $200k.. but he doesn't have the yard and the massive pool

man they must have jacked up the prices, I went to scottsdale last august, and the most I saw was a house for 300K... I went to one of the realtors out there and told me they are having a buzz from the Cali peeps moving in. So I guess they raised their prices.

based on that article they posted.. that house has more going on that you can just see from the pictures..

i would expected it to have more land in the front and on the side.. but it seems most of the happenings is in the rear of the property..

It is a patio home, which means it is attached (or very close to it) to another home and shares common elements with the surrounding properties. That pool is most likely a pool for the entire subdivision. That does mean it is not worth $400,000. Scottsdale has some crazy a$$ expensive homes ( I know, I am a Real Estate Appraiser).

As far as no homes above $300,000 in Scottsdale, that is BS. Take a look at the following chart, and keep in mind that the price listed is for LAND ONLY. BTW, the median home price in North Scottsdale is $435,000
