I miss my MAX....

Ok, I had a '92 Max with 250,000 miles on it, and it was a great car, however I felt that it wasn't going to last much longer so i traded it in for a '04 Chevy Trailblazer for my mom, and I got her '96 toyota Corolla. I am seriously going throuigh withdrawls... I miss my car sooooo much, I really need another maxima... I went from a beauiful, black, V6 luxury sedan to a 4 cyl small ***, no power mom's car. I've been trying to get another Max, but I have no money, and I want one now!!!!! URRG!! The coolla is a great car, it only has 63,000 miles on it and its in great mechanical condition...but i need another MAX!!!

You could probably find a good 4th gen for a sweet price if you look around and when you get a bit more money. Just don't hurt yourself.

Nice, Trailblazer but why? I have rented a Trailblazer, they are very nice and good looking SUV but I don't like the GM quality. You could easily had a FX35 instead of trailblazer.

After incentives and such, you can get a Trailblazer for around $10k less than an FX35. And the Trailblazer is far more practical and utilitarian for family duties than an FX35. Maybe that had something to do with it?

Study and work hard in school in a field with high potential (college) and then when you graduate you'll be able to buy yourself any car you want. In the meantime, the Corolla is still a good car that should get great fuel mileage.

I can almost feel your pain and that is why I will never give up on my Maxi's. My 92 VE has 290k on it and it still runs pretty good. I am going to be putting a new motor in soon...You should look for a nice VE 5 speed you can pick one up for around $2,500.

yes the corolla is a slow car, my mom has a 96 before giving it to my sister after he sentra died (held out for 3 years gotta love nissan) and I drove it around from time to time, it was sadly slow, even with over drive on, it still was no Max, not the same at all.

sadly you'll have to work hard towards getting a better car, since you have no money now you'll have to deal with the corolla, but when you get into college, that refund check can be your friend, but becareful you still have to pay that back so dont get crazy with it.

just a head up.

Yeah..I just have to save my money...I do have a job..but its only minimum wage at Knotts Berry Farm..However, I was told by all my Shift Leaders that they want me to be a shift leader one day and it might come as soon as september considering I've only been there for four months... I'm hoping by the end of the year to have saved enough for a reasonable down payment on a Black '05 Maxima SL..... I've already made the corolla mine by tinting the windows and replacing the speakers.., But its still not a Max..

Good news: The corolla will last until you drive it into the ground. Bad news: The corolla will last until you drive it into the ground. Save your money to get a better car. God knows the toyota will last for awhile.

I got permission to sell the corolla as long as i can find a Max with about the same miles and a good service record. Considering I now have my own income..If anything were to go wrong, I'd have to pay for car repairs..Which is totally do-able...I'm very excited...

I have been driving a Maxima for 8.5 years now and I always love getting in it. It looks good, drives well, and can move. I think my next car will be an upgrade but I just might keep my 2002 to play around with.
