oh man, what is this??? LOL. that turbo SI is really not that fast - that was my last race of the night and it was when i was out of bottle. i went back the following week and raced him from a 60punch and pulled a car by 80. i hate that video cuz everyone says "what?? you lost to an SI??" lol.

Speaking of adventures...sx7r, no new adventures lately? I want to see more videos between you and your victims...I mean opponents.

 

Oh yeah! I was wondering when I'd get to see those videos again. Definitely entertaining! It must be quite a rush being able to accelerate like that. I would love to go F/I but I fear 140,000 miles means that something internal would probably give and no one wants to have to buy a new motor. She still runs great though! Mad props to you sx7r for the videos. Btw, have you got that new clutch yet?

i think someone said before there is a brightness control in Windows Media Player? every one of these videos i DL is just a bunch of lights and i cant tell what the heck is goin on. or are they all just in total blackness and im outta luck and lights are all there is to see?

MAXINXS-Yes, THomas got his new clutch in now. He did it himself with some help.

I dont think Tommy is quite ready for Don yet, Tommy is a 13 sec car, Don's was a high 12's. I dont think anyone will want to race Don when his new motor buildup is done.

 

yeah, there's brightness control in windows media player. i have version 7. you click "view" go to "Now Playing Tools" and click "video settings." you see alot more after adjusting the brightness.

yes, i got my clutch in with some help from a couple of friends. just finished breaking it in. in fact today when my girlfriend and yj were in the car with me going to eat we raced an M3 on the way there. i saw him in the rear view mirror so i waited for him. when he caught up, he looked over and started laughing at me. we ended up racing twice. once from a 40 punch and once from a stop. from the 40 punch, i pulled about a car till about 60mph when we hit traffic. then when we raced from a light, he bogged or something and i got a car on him so i let off at the top of first for him to catch up. then when he got even with me, he jumped me so i got back on it and by the top of third i had about 4 or 5 cars on him.

on the way back from dinner we raced an new S4. we were at a stoplight waiting for the light to change. we both revved up to launch and as the light turned green, some dumb butt in the opposite direction made a last minute left turn to beat the light. as a result we both let off and we both bogged pretty bad. so it turned out to be a race from a 10mph punch. i got about 1 or 2 cars on him and then i let off. then he proceeded to race me again from a 50 punch. i'm walking him by halfway through 3rd gear so i let off as soon as he realizes he can't catch up.

too bad we didn't have the video cam with us.
