Does anybody have Universal Warranty Platinum plan? How is it? I went on their website and I think it is now called pinacle...but not sure if its the same.

A friend of mine is about to buy a used car with such warranty (200 deductible), and we need opinions on weather they are good, ok or suck. Warranty is upto 100k miles, so that's good, but $200 deductible is sort of high.

I have the big one, with no deductible. It has payed for itself and I still have 20K miles left. 2 Oxygen sensors, alternator, main crank pulley with 2 belts, sunroof motor and probably some other stuff.

The most important thing is to make sure that you have a good dealer that won't try to dodge every little bug.

I have the Nissan Security Plus+. Thank God. I has paid for itself and then some!

 

I had a Nissan Platinum plan ( I think) for my Eclipse. They took car of a gas tank and a slave cylinder. Plus they transfer owners. So it seems that car has a bit of an edge over similar used cars.
