were to buy unorthodox pulley?

Weres the cheapest place to buy a unorthodox underdrive pulley?

This will probubly be one of the only mods my car will have cause it gives good gains for the price and doesnt make any noise.

If any one has one, list were you got it from and how much you paid.

-Thanks

Get the UR udp, it works. Comparing hp/$ gains is pointless.

sorry to get all technical, but with a lightened udp, you don't GAIN any horsepower. you simply free up some horsepower that was being lost due to spinning the larger, heavier udp.

Dyno before and after, and the 2nd dyno will have more HP. Therefore you GAINED hp.
Or else every other mod "frees up horsepower".

you're getting more horsepower to the ground instead of losing it internally. but it was horsepower that was already there, you're just redirecting it.

NO it doesn't work. Sure it lets the engine rev up and down quicker WHEN THE CAR IS IN NEUTRAL. That doesn't mean **** when the car is in gear and the engine needs to spin the transmission and wheels.

Those who have the pulley know the differance so if you dont have it then please dont post.

ya sure bal bla it frees up horsepower and doesnt add it, i know how it works and i didnt ask for peoples opinion on its gains...

I just want to know were to buy it the cheapest.

I know a pulley helps because i had the rvm one, only problem was it was cheap and gave me an oil leak.....

And most of the people on this forum have an intake even tho it doesnt give any gains?????

I guess a Y-pipe doesn't gain power either. It merely frees up power that would have otherwise been directed at pumping losses.

Or any other brand of intake for that matter.

I have an ebay intake, and UDPs and intakes there is a huge debate on whether they give power or not blah blah blah. All I know is my ebay intake showed some gains from the butt dyno and from the wheel tugging just a lil bit.

I also plan to purchase a UDP I'll find out for myself if I wasted my money or not.

People saying that it helps doesn't mean squat. Where are the dyno #'s, time slips, etc.

P.S.: The theory is sound, i agree. But that doesn't necessarily mean it makes enough of a difference in performance on a grand scale to warrant the $$ plus the PITA install.

like i said above i had the rvm pulley and noticed a big diffance.

I dont need numbers and slips, i can tell when my tires break loose more and i can feel when my car is a tad bit quicker.

And when my and boy raced in his 95, we had same mods and i had a puley and each time i would jsut pull on him...then i took of the rvm cause of an oil leak and we were almost dead even....

it sucked for me cause i didnt have air tools, and the belt tensioner bolt snapped while i was taking it off and that sucked..

My half moon thingy also had a slight dent in it and i had to buy a new one, then somehow it wouldnt line back in correctly??

The job could go either way , but if you have never done it before it can be a pain cause its not just about taking off the pully, you can mes some stuff up if you do somehing wrong
