Finally Sold the Max, thanks Maxima.Org and board members

It really sucked to sell my car but I have driven an auto long enough. I never planned to have the car as long as I did. This car has really gotten me hooked on performance, I was never really too intereasted in it before and Maxima.Org and all its board members have really helped me out in the past couple of years and I appreciate it. thanks!!!!!

By the way I sold her w/ 68k miles and got $11,300.

Some Pics.....

Well if you're looking for a brand new Subaru, you should check out Legacy GT's. There's a thread about it in the "Other Cars" forum. It's like a non-ricey version of the STI.

I recently drove a loaded Legacy GT limited and it has a horrible Turbo wine....it is very loud. Compare it to say...SAAB 9-5 and that one is quiet as can be....250hp in Aero.

I've ridden in one several times now and I've never heard any turbo whine Are you talking about from inside the car? I know the exhaust sounds pretty sweet if you hear it pulling away You can't hear the exhaust very much from inside though...

i have a 2003 9-3 Vector and i dont like the car to much... great in turns however under 3000 rpms the car feels dead and after 4500 rpms the boost control opens the waste gate...

i wanted the G35c, however my fience wanted the Saab and she drives it everyday.. waste of $38,000 IMO. Not to mention they are expensive to fix... god forbid the autoleveling device for the projectors dies...$$$$$$.

i will never buy another turbo four-banger.

i say save the money and buy a G35c, if you dont have the money... buy a year or two old one and get an extended warranty.

Yeah, I put it on Autotrader.com but a guy from England tried to pull a scam on me from my Ad. He sent me a fake check for $4000 over my asking price, then wanted me to send him the car and the raminder of the check after shipping. There was no return address on the envelope. I would have probobly fallen for it if this other guy didnt show so much interest.

So hows the S2000 treating you?

I ended up selling it to a guy on base on the "lemon lot"

Military guys are suckers for a good looking car

The S2000 is hot, I love rowing the gears, the high redline and riding with the top down almost everyday.

I like your choices for the next ride, even though your Maxima was sporty, they will be worlds different from the Maxima. My friend got a EVO MR and has no regrets leaving his modded BMW 330ci. It was keeping up with me on the twisties and is a lot more practical than the S2000.

I drove a SRT-4 yesterday and got pushed back into my seat, a rather nice seat. It was fun and 8k cheaper than the EVO.

SRT-4s are great, modding is fun and easy and dosent cost a arm and leg like are maximas, because we know MOPAR is involved and you can upgrade to a stage 2 tubro and other goodies with no hassel of installation or other worries, plus there fun to drive and light and well there Tubro!
